Hello and welcome to my blog!

I'm a lifestyle photographer based out of San Luis Obispo, CA. My home has some of the most amazing places to photograph, but that's not to say that I don't love to travel to new and EXCITING places. One of the greatest things about my profession is all the people I get to meet along the way.

I specialize in babies and children and I LOVE photographing weddings (who doesn't love a good love story). I'm always up for a challenge and will photograph just about anything that comes my way. Here on this blog you will find my latest work as well as bits of my own life. I am a mother to a beautiful little boy and wife to an amazing man. Life can be crazy, fun and a little wild. I take my camera to capture those moments.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to leave a comment-I love comments!!

This past weekend I was delighted to celebrate my sweet niece’s first birthday. The birthday party was fit for queen, filled with scrumptious cupcakes and appetizers (I actually sat next to the food table most of the time). The decorations were adorable…and of course Miss Elizabeth wore her birthday crown too.
The party ended with a little photo shoot of the birthday girl.
Happy Birthday sweet little Elizabeth, you know your auntie loves you so much!

And now time for a little giveaway!! You see the adorable crown Elizabeth is wearing? Well her mama, who just so happens to write a fun “mom blog” is giving one lucky fan of mine a custom made birthday crown. Yes, not only is she an amazing writer but she is also a crafty mama too! So head over to Mandyland and become a follower and then come back to my blog and leave a comment telling me you are following Mandyland. If you are already following her blog then just leave a comment on my blog telling me you are. The winner will be selected next Friday August 20th at 6:00pm.
Contest is open to all of Canada and US only.

This week and next are set aside to finish the sessions from Washington. I know I will be getting some happy Washingtonians once they open up those envelopes and insert that CD into the computer.
The rest of the Washington Sessions will be finished up this week and next!!

You probably remember my little preview form the maternity session of this sweet little family. Well a few weeks later baby girl number three made her arrival and I was honored to go back and photograph her newborn pictures. Below are some of the images from both sessions.
I must say it is a good thing dad is a high school teacher because the boys will be after these lovely ladies.
I have two slide shows, one from each session. To see the maternity slide show click here and to see the newborn slide show click here. And baby girl number three has arrived…

Look at these little cuties. You would think they are brothers but in fact they are cousins. Some very cute cousins I must say…

Location is always one of the biggest questions I get from clients. Where is the perfect location? How about at home? Everyone loves those natural moments in a picture. Being at home offers the perfect environment for your family to be just who you are.
This sweet family below you have seen before. I have photographed them on several occasions. This time I met them at their home where I found Mama and her little helper in the kitchen cleaning and cooking. Then we headed outside to hang out with dad and capture some family moments. There is no better way to end a session than with a nice story of Peter Rabbit. These are those sweet everyday moments… why not capture them?

Thanks to The Sterios Family for inviting me into your home and allowing me to capture these memories for you!! ♥♥
